Prerequisites are two semesters of General Biology 01:119:115-116 and General Chemistry 01:160:161-162 and171. A course in organic chemistry is recommended. Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Format
This is a lecture-based course. Additional help is provided through recitations and through office hours or by appointment.
Description
This is an intense course that will cover all the body systems. There will be a large amount of material to understand. It is expected that all students in the class have a solid background in biology and chemistry, as this information will serve as the foundation to discuss various physiological systems and processes.
