How to Apply

To the 4+1 B.S./M.S. Program in Animal Sciences/Endocrinology & Animal Biosciences

Deadlines

Submit materials by

May 30

following your junior year

You will get a decision by

June 30

following your junior year

Apply to grad school by

March 15

of your senior year, if accepted

(including current seniors who have obtained special permission to apply)

Send your transcripts, (which should include third-year spring semester grades and at least 90 credits of coursework), CV/resume, and personal statement* (all in one PDF with your name as the file name) to EAB4plus1@sebs.rutgers.edu by the end of the spring semester of your third year of post-secondary study (May 30).

Once approved by the UPD/GPD/EAB Admissions Committee, you can then apply to the School of Graduate Studies through the Graduate and Professional Admissions application portal no later than March 15 of your Senior year. (Note: you must indicate you are a current Rutgers undergraduate to see the 5-Year Master's category for Degree Type.)

*The personal statement (up to 1,000 words) should describe your academic achievements, research experience, leadership skills, commitment to graduate school, examples illustrating your resilience and adaptability during your education, and how you have contributed to or supported intellectual and/or cultural diversity in higher education and science.
