  • REQUIRED from Lecture: Anatomy of Domestic Animals, Pasquini, Spurgeon, and Pasquini. Sudz Publishing, 2007, 11th ed. (ISBN 0-9623114-2-1)
  • Laboratory notes/manual provided for each lab group (extras are available for purchase)
  • Must bring a clipboard to all laboratories, lab coat and/or scrubs are highly recommended

Course Description: This course will cover basic mammalian anatomy and anatomical terminology, the diversity of animal body structure and its relationship to comparative physiology among mammalian species, and the structural differences among the anatomies of selected mammals.

Course Grading & Assessments: The laboratory will have 3 lab quizzes each worth 60 points and a lab practical on the last week of labs worth 200 points. There will be NO makeup labs, quizzes, or exams. There will be 20 points total for class discussions on Canvas.
