Admission Requirements
For the Graduate Program in Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences
You may apply to our program on the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions website.
In addition to your application and the application fee, these supporting materials must be submitted by December 15 (all Ph.D. applicants from the U.S.; all international applicants; and all applicants interested in financial support) or March 15 (M.S. applicants from the U.S. not interested in financial support). Be sure to check the Graduate and Professional Admissions website for instructions.
- Application form and application fee
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary schools
- Test scores (GREs - optional, not required; TOEFL or IELTS where required*)
- A personal statement describing your academic achievements, research experience, leadership skills, commitment to graduate school, examples illustrating your resilience and adaptability during your education, and how have you contributed to or supported intellectual and/or cultural diversity in higher education and science. Please also identify at least three faculty whose research you are interested in for your graduate training.
- Letters of recommendation (3) letters should be from research advisors, college-level course instructors, or academic advisors or can be from field-relevant employers (e.g., physicians, veterinarians, etc.).
- A resume or curriculum vitae
- Reprints of published papers, if any
- Financial documentation, if you are an international applicant
