17th Annual Pioneers in Endocrinology Workshop: Endocrinology of Bone

This year’s theme is Endocrinology of Bone and will feature two lectures: “How Aging Affects Bone and Muscle Crosstalk,” given by Gustavo Duque, M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Joseph Kaufmann Chair in Geriatric Medicine at McGill University and Director of the Simone and Edouard Schouela RUISSS McGill Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health of Seniors; and “Weight Loss Induced Bone Loss: Mechanisms and Mitigations,” given by Clifford J. Rosen, M.D., Director of Clinician and Translational Research and Senior Scientist at Maine Medical Center Research Institute and Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.

These presentations will be followed by a luncheon and then a poster session in which laboratories from all Rutgers campuses, including its medical school branches, will showcase their work.
