The Society for Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Club are the two student organizations that are active within the Animal Science Department. Each club sponsors invited speakers, field trips, and career orientation presentations that are both social and educational. Both clubs contribute greatly to the success of Ag Field Day. The Animal Fitting and Showmanship contests and The Petting Zoo are top Ag Field Day attractions due to the leadership of the Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Science Club, respectively. Dates, times, and locations of meetings will be posted as department news as they are scheduled.
The Cook College Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club, Equine Science Club, Pre-Veterinary Club, and Society of Animal Science are student organizations that are active within the Department of Animal Sciences. Department faculty serve as club advisors. The student organizations sponsor invited speakers, field trips, and career orientation presentations that are both social and educational.
