Research

Principal current research is on the endocrine cascade that triggers the onset of estrous cycles in peripubertal and postpartum cattle, pigs and horses. The goal is to initiate cycles earlier, control the time of ovulation to permit inseminations at a predetermined time, and achieve greater pregnancy rates during the breeding season.
