The Equine Science Club is dedicated to stimulate an interest in equine science, promote equine related opportunities for all students, inform prospective students and other interested students of the various aspects of equine science, and promote intellectual, social, and recreational activities.

Jessica Hirsch, Vice President
Senior, Animal Science Major/Equine Science Option

I am currently a fourth year student at Cook, and this is my third year on the executive board. I’ve taken part in equine research with Dr. Carey Williams for the past three semesters, as well as give tours of the farm. I’ve been riding for 14 years, and am an active member of the AQHA, NJQHA, PHBA, and NJPEA. I also have a 6-year-old Palomino Quarter horse mare, and am currently training and showing her in western events. Outside of school, I work as an editorial and research assistant for a medical writer. I aspire to advance in the medical writing field, and to one day have a ranch of my own where I can breed and train horses.
